Climate Change Initiative

The United Kingdom aims to cut its carbon emission rates by 78% by 2035, and reach net zero by 2050. The UK has come a long way in this ambitious journey after cutting its emissions by 51% from the 1990 levels. The legally binding Climate Change Act, the international pledge to the Paris Agreement, and the increased awareness and sense of responsibility for the future generations have driven these important changes.

Turkish Bank UK will play its part in this journey by providing Green Finance Trainings to its staff and raise awareness, and further investigate areas where it can help drive the change.
