TurkishBank UK is deeply saddened and is in mourning following the devastating earthquakes that took place on the 6th of February 2023 in the Southeast of Türkiye. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and pray for a rapid recovery for those who are injured.
We are observing a tremendous amount of humanitarian aid coming from the local Turkish community in London. To support this, TurkishBank UK will not be charging customers who wish to make money transfers to the affected region, or support any charity that is supporting the humanitarian efforts. We have published the initiative across our social media outlets, and placed banners across our branches to welcome all members of the public.
