Mr. Emre Currel

TBUK continues to grow its Internship Programme, with the addition of Emre Currell, who competed his master’s degree with a distinction in Creative Writing from the University of Roehampton.

Having joined the Digital Transformation Team, Emre explains that “I had a misguided preconception that to work in a bank I needed to really understand numbers and all things maths. Now, I realise just how many roles and opportunities there are under the umbrella of a bank.”.

Further explaining his experiences in Banking, Emre states that, “My ideas and vision for the future has broadened and I’m now considering new avenues that I never thought would be possible before. Just a short amount of time in banking has shown me that there are jobs that I can do where I feel comfortable and at home, all while being challenged and having a sense of fulfilment and meaning, driving the work that I do.”

TBUK will continue to give the platform for Interns to learn and excel, and play a pivotal role at the start of their careers.
