Jervis Rhodes cycles to work from his home, COVID arrangements permitting, and is grateful for the bike rack conveniently located outside the headquarters of TBUK. He cycles in order to join a group of friends who every year (pre pandemic) cycle The Ride London 100 mile sportive to raise funds for a local charity in South London; St Christopher’s Hospice. The Ride London commenced in 2015 and starts at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Then it follows roads closed for the day for traffic through the Capital over the River Thames and out into Surrey following much of the 2012 Olympic road race route. The route includes Leith Hill and Box Hill and then comes back towards the centre of London and along the Embankment past some of London’s most famous landmarks before finishing on The Mall, hopefully arriving approximately 5hours 30 minutes after setting off.
