Our Chairman Hakan Bortecene, Turk Bankasi CEO Erhan Raif and Group Office Representatives Kurt & Bars Bortecene visited Temenos’ UK Head Office at Fenchurch Street on the 24th of October. The delegation held high-level talks with Kam Chana; Head of Digital Strategy & Innovation for Temenos’ flagship software Infinity. Ms.Chana was informed of TurkishBank Group’s latest developments regarding digital transformation and exciting projects from the 3 countries including Open Banking, Open Investment, ATB’s migration to Temenos and co-working projects.
A lot of interesting strategic approaches to possible collaborations were discussed however the highlight of the visit was when Temenos CEO; Mr.Max Chuard joined the meeting. Having took the helm at the 10 billion CHF software giant last February, Mr.Chuard reiterated Temenos’ appreciation of our long standing partnership and highlighted some of the key investments and acquisitions his team made during 2019. Our Chairman and delegation thanked Mr.Chuard for their commitment to openness to collaboration and wished to catch-up at this years TCF at Madrid.
The same delegation also touched base with EBRD Board Member Mr.Taskin Temiz the same day. Mr. Temiz also represents Turkey on the Boards of EBRD Romania, Azerbaijan, Moldova and the Kyrgyz Republic. Mr.Temiz was informed of our current working relationship with EBRD in Cyprus and the social initiatives we have took on in the island. The focus was on sustaining our fruitful collaboration on projects such as the TFP and Women in Business/Entrepreneurship and creating new opportunities and pathways to harness EBRD’s global and regional influence.
